ScreenMetricLab Check screen

Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

ScreenMetricLab is built around privacy-friendly, browser-based utilities. Screen, viewport, DPR, browser, operating-system, and orientation values are calculated locally in your browser so you can use the tools without creating an account.

Browser-based results

Live checker values and calculator results are displayed on the current page using browser-provided APIs. The tools are designed to work without account registration, uploads, or a personal profile.

No diagnostic account database

The foundation tools do not require sending your screen diagnostic results to a user account database. If analytics, ads, or other third-party services are added later, this policy should be updated before launch.

Information shown by the tools

The site can show technical browser information such as viewport size, screen resolution, device pixel ratio, browser name, operating system, orientation, color depth, refresh-rate estimate, and zoom or scaling notes. These values help users debug layouts, prepare QA notes, and compare device references.

How tool data is processed

Checker and calculator values are processed locally in the browser for immediate display. The site does not require a login to generate these results and does not ask users to upload files for the core screen and viewport tools.

Device database and reference pages

Device viewport records, guides, and comparison pages are published as general reference material. They are not personal data about a visitor. Browser and OS behavior may still change the values reported on a live device.

Analytics, advertising, and cookies

If analytics or advertising is added later, ScreenMetricLab should disclose the provider, cookie behavior, retention approach, consent requirements, and opt-out options where applicable. The Cookie Policy should be kept aligned with this page.

Contact and corrections

For privacy questions or data-handling concerns, contact support@screenmetriclab.com or use the Contact page. Requests should be reviewed before any major analytics or advertising rollout.
